Lim
Hello, I'm Lim. I was raised in Seoul, South Korea, and moved to America with my mom and brother after my parents divorced. (It was about five years ago, I guess.) I plan on majoring in either painting or film making. I'm still not quite sure where this class will take me, but I believe this is an opportunity to extend my interests in philosophy. There are many things I expect to learn from this class, but I especially want to learn how to express my ideas in an effective way.

I think that's a good goal for this class, Lim. One of the main goals of critical thinking is to be able to formulate ideas clearly, and once they are formulated, they are much easier to express. So you should get lots of practice on that this semester!
